Has a D&RGW 700 or 800 series drop bottom gondola ever been converted by another tourist operation for passenger use? I seem to recall the D&RGW had to modify the unloading door mechanism for these cars so that during unloading the cars wouldn't tip over. Now instead of coal or cinders passengers sometimes have a habit of shifting their respective "load" from one side of the car to the other to get a better view of the right-o-way. Hopefully some of the "engineers" on this board with more of a background in RR car dynamics can chime in here.
