Oh for Criminy Sake, grow up.
There have always been a lot of Texas Transplants in Colorado. Lake City is crawling with them, Vail Corporation used to be headquartered in Dallas, Continental Oil Moved from Denver to Dallas, so lighten up.
I'm a Coloradan who transplanted to Wyoming so I'm a "Greenie" (after the license plates). Who cares? The point that I'm trying to make is that there hasn't been anybody living in Denver long enough to depreciate the rape that is being done to the Downtown area, including Union Station.
I guess that development is is having Ocean Fish in the middle of the United States and "Six Flags over the South Platte" within walking distance.
I mentioned to a guy working at Caboose Hobbies in Denver that I passed the C&S Rice Yards (where Six Flags is now) and they were building one helluva Hump Yard (The roller coaster was being built). This brain-dead bozo thought I was serious. Obviously not in Denver long enough to know the difference between Burnham, 36th St., Rice, North and 23rd street yards.
So don't apologize, Texans, we know that you can't help it. It's just in your water.
