Although the Old Vegas 0-6-4T might roughly resemble a Mason Bogie, it lacks the pivoting, powered bogie used by Mason. Located between the frame and boiler, the bogie parts can sometimes be hard to see. Below is a picture of a casting, from the Mason Bogie "Torch Lake," through which the steam travelled between the pivoting parts to reach the cylinders.
