I'm not certain of what the grand plan is either. When Museum volunteers come up to work, we work at the direction of the Albion guys.
The specific plan here is to put in the short siding where the snowplow and flanger originally sat, so that they can put up a shelter for their work on building the flanger. He also has a small critter which will have to be regauged from 3' to 2'.
At the end of operations in 1933, there was a siding which ran immediately to the right of Steve's picture, running up to a potato house behind the station (you can still see the foundations). Another switch even further behind ran to the turntable and 1-stall engine house.
A team track was off to the left, originally. The main continued across the road to some canning companies. Other tracks served a saw-mill off to the left (which is still standing BTW).
