some equally ancient cars:
two work flat cars once used by the NY Elevated built by Wason in 1878.
a Manhattan Ry passenger car built by Pullman in 1881 that became an instruction car when the railway electrified.
a wooden elevated passenger car that was operated until 1955 that was built by Pullman in 1888.
A number of ancient freight cars from Singer Sewing Machine Company at Elizabeth, NJ. These are four- and eight-wheel flat and box cars. I remember hearing John White (who wrote about freight cars in the wood car era) saying he was quite surprised that such ancient cars survived.
