Sadly enough, Mark, you may not be out of the woods yet. It takes 30 to 35 years for the fibres to work their way through your lung's lining. I was in the electric industry, before I retired, and I lost a close friend in 1996 who had been exposed in a power plant some 38 years earlier. His final illness was ll months long and miserable. I don't mean to be ghoulish, but I do want to offer a dose of reality to a very serious subject.
