To my knowledge the steam trip only goes to Bennett, is advertised with steam power, and the Carcross train tends to be marketed as “something something Bennett”, so I don’t believe you booked the steam trip. Pretty sure you could change it still if you have that option. I’d compare the railroad website schedule against your time in port. The ship would have the information on when it’s casting off, and they don’t let you book shore excursions that return too late in the day. Carnival is one of the lines that leaves latest in the day, so that probably has some impact on who is getting which portion of the trip.
