I don't think his books are necessarily bad, he and his father at least both worked for the railroad, but a lot of them are stories that suffer from Chinese telephone syndrome


Here is a good read for everyone, Cy Warman worked on the D&RG and South Park before he wrote poetry and short stories, and he wrote a few about his time on both railroads, including an account of the failure of the Jull Plow on Alpine Pass and a wreck in the Black Canyon
