EBT trackwork progress southward . . .

A sort of virtual "timelapse" of progress where EBT rails cross PA-475 south of Rockhill Furnace, Pennsylvania.

Its very difficult to see/guess that EBT rails cross PA-475 parallel to and just below Pogue Rd in this Google Maps screenshot:


That view above is clearly the way it looked for years. And in this case, Streetview is more recent than the aerial view above. Below are two Google Maps Streetview screenshots (located on the PA-475 crossing) that show progress:

In this area, the Foundation has been laying the rails aside, clearing the trees and brush, regrading the ROW, then laying new ties and replacing the rails on new ties. While the removed rails are difficult to see in that South screenshot, moving the view slightly shows the rails: [www.google.com]
