Judging from his second and third shots at the Whiplash, above, it looks like Olaf discovered "Roosso's Rock" more than forty years before I did, although my way of getting there along the top of the mesa is a LOT easier than hiking up from near the old section house (providing one drives carefully, of course). And there were WAY more large trees in 2008 than in 1966

I'm sure the shallow 'S' curve just east of the Whiplash is even more hidden after another 15 years. (Has it really been that long since 315's debut?) Maybe some of those trees should be converted to Eureka fuel

p.s. Osier was just as isolated in October of 1964 as it was in June of 1966, but the weather was a lot nicer in the Fall
