The RGS T-19's could easily handle a pre-"Shavano" consist over the 4% grades of Marshall and Cerro Summit without helpers, at track speed. This left the K-28's to do freight work over Marshall until the 1925 arrival of the 480's.

Just the new receiver flexing operational muscle over home and associated roads.
