If I recall, a Pyle National K-2 dynamo barely has the the output to power all the cab, and auxiliary lights plus one headlight. The auxiliary and cab lights would be: steam gauge, air gauge, 2 water glasses, lubricator glass, reading light over the engineer gangway light, running light below the cab on the right side, headlight number board front and rear, train number boards by the stack, 2 classification lights. Lots of little 15 watt lamps, plus a 250-watt headlight. That's about 450 watts. I think a K-2 is good for 500 watts.
