Re: Bergen to Oslo NNG

I haven't done the entire line but it is on my bucket list. I have only done the Flåm to Bergen section. We did a trip similar to what Doug recommended where we took the ferry from Bergen to Flåm but chose to stay overnight at Balestrand instead of Flåm. We then took the train from Flåm to Myrdal. This part is an engineering wonder that I can't recommend enough! The train from Myrdal back to Bergen was no less impressive with many many tunnels and meets running as clockwork.

You won't be disappointed in the ride, that's for sure. I would recommend going in the summers though. The weather is perfect! Winters... not so much.
