Sometime around 1960 the rule was changed to forbid all doubleheading over Lobato and Cascade Creek Trestles. But by this time only K-28 and K-36 and K-37 classes were being used. The C&TS has always cut a combination of 463 and whatever else it was running with. When I chsed 315 and 168 up the hill, they stopped to cut the engines at Lobato. We did doublehead the Eureka and Glenbrook over Lobato and Cascade Creek.
