Warren and Chris put in extra time on Saturday morning following the work session to finish some of the interrior work
1 - A 20 ton truck was disassembled at Chama to obtain archbar prototypes for the construction of new trucks
2 - 1/2" steel rod was purchased so the Les Clark (Tool Car) can make brake bean safety chain links.
3 - Les Clark made "J" bolts for the brake beanm safety chains and bolts to be used in the truck fabrication.
4 - Flooring was installed in the bench seats
5 - The entire interrior was primed
6 - The brake drain valve levers were installed
7 - The brake retainer was installed on the "A" end
During both sessions there was alot of interaction between the Coal Bin and 0579 crews. The flooring was installed, and a good portion of the interrior surface prep/painting was done by Coal Bin Crew members. The 579 crew members helped the Coal Bin Crew by fabricating U bolts, cutting old rails in to posts, post hole digging and post installation. Assistance was also given during the final assembly when the timber sides were installed.
