The drawing in the Bender Book is not very accurate, I can't speak for the one in the NG&SL mag.

Bill it has D&RG style truck because it had D&RG style trucks. Current trucks are replica trucks with new castings from museum patterns. I still need to change the journal boxes and add some other details but they look very close to what it had.
