While I am not aware of any national news coverage of the GWSU event in Carson City, I can confirm that it did receive local coverage in the Carson City/Reno area. In particular, KOLO, the local ABC affiliate, did feature short segments on it several times during their newscasts over the weekend. I'm a news junkie, so I watched the local news each morning, while preparing to attend the event. I suspect that one reason why it may not have received wider coverage, beyond the local area, is because it was an attendance-limited event.....meaning the museum was deliberately limiting the number of attendees each day, not only to ensure a quality experience, but more importantly, to keep things safe.
