When I first saw the light-colored tank car in your top photo I thought the C&TS was re-enacting the mixed express from the years just before the San Juan —
when one of Hughes' insulated GRAMPS DAIRY milk cars was added in each direction between Chama and the Cloverleaf ice cream plant in Alamosa.
