The LOC HABS reports on the Tunnel are very good, especially the overall plat map for placing the structures accurately. The structures are primarily for the period after the 1905 fire, specifically the structures that were surviving when the survey was done. Sadly the footprint of the stone section house wasn't done. The telegraph office, as drawn, shows the significant twist in the structure as it was when surveyed!
Also, the passing siding running past the telegraph office didn't exist until the C&S period. Photos around 1897 still show the single track plus siding through the engine shed and then the request to put in the track was made in September 1899.
