Hi Taylor,
I know thare are not many woodburners out there. However, I think Eureka is the only rod locomotive that gets out on the mainline. At the Nevada State Railroad Museum in Carson City, Nv. the Inyo, also built in 1875, is still in operating condition and is run on special occasions around the museum grounds. In fact, this last July 4th weekend when I had Eureka up there, I ran the Inyo for awhile. Also, Chris DeWitt is restoring the Glenbrook, built also in 1875. It is a mogul woodburner and will be in operating condition. I would love to see Eureka and Glenbrook out on the line together.
