Checked my slides from the '60's. First train order board I found was at La Jara....red in the direction of approach, white on the other side. Had red, yellow and green lenses....have no idea what they used the yellow for, since where I came from (the SP) train order boards were only red or green, or "waved" between red and green if the operator had an order that would advance your train beyond his station....handed up on a hoop. My pix of the Cumbres section house during this period show a semaphore in place, but with the paddles removed (just the lenses remaining). I only visited Osier once during this period, but my pix do not show a train order board....this was probably about 64 or 65. Cheers.
