OK John & Bo,
I'll buy that. I didn't know that red also showed up so dark on the old film.
I usually go down to Caboose and get my calendars at Christmas. So I haven't gotten one yet. But do you think that I'm right in saying that the white blade was for the approaching train and not the red one? Should the Friends repaint it red and white? I sort of remember someone years ago saying that it wasn't right but we didn't have a tall enough ladder.
And it seems that I remember that different lenses would be uncovered depending on the position. They were kind of staggered at different radii from the axis. I'm sure I had one of them on my old HO set when I was a kid. Can you make out the lenses in Haley's photo?
