Good point. However, I do not remember any tunnels while riding the FES in Salvador in 1975, but the
Atlantic Division of FEGUA, formerly IRCA, had at least 3 between Zacapa and Guatemala City.

FWIW, the standard gauge Mexican Western running out of Culiacan, Mexico, had a nice old sofa on the tender
of Porter 0-6-0 number 2 for the 19 mile backup move to Navolato. I got to enjoy it once..
