Re: 493 with lumber loads at the "old" 2nd crossing on November 22, 1967

Well, it turns out that I really can't run that fast. Russo and Earl are right, the fourth photo on the original post really is at Perry's Pond, not at the second crossing. Before I got my own scanner, this negative set was scanned at the last (and now gone) photo shop on the Colorado West Slope, in Montrose. Going back to the original negative strips, I find that the negative sequence in the scan files is badly out of whack, with negative strips mixed up and numbered in reverse sequence. So now I know not to rely on the scan numbering but to reference back to the original negative strips when using these scans (this has never been a problem with negatives scanned by Russo - they are always correctly sequenced and numbered). Corrections to my post are coming up.
