When "Lobo Lodge" owned the property, they were very laid back about fans wandering around on their property. When I was there in the 80's and 90's I never heard of anyone being harrased by the property owners. I used to walk down from Dalton Crossing and shoot pics and record audio all the time. Just up the FS road from Hwy 17 is a left turn that is the old highway grade that if you walked it far enough, it takes you to the old Wolf Creek bridge. I used to drive my 1970 Mustang down this road a bit to get shots with the cabins in the back ground.

When the property got sold to the El Ranch Oso Prado gang, and the big money showed up, that is when it all started to change. People with big money are paranoid, and don't want us commoners treading on their precious soil.....
