One additional thought: In the late 1980's or early 1990's, while I was inactive, SVRR did some horse trading with the WP&YR. Included in this were the two Baldwin tenders mentioned. It might be that the tender frame in question was part of that. The photo definitely looks like our McEwen yard. If so the frame might have gone back to Skagway in a second trade during the same time period. I am not sure exactly what was was traded in each of these wo sessions, but SVRR ended up with half a dozen former EBT hoppers, four drop bottom gondolas, a former D&RG narrow frame tank, and three steel container flats. Later a third trade sent one of the drop bottoms, which was fully restored, back to the WP&YR in exchange for another tank car (not D&RGW) and a couple more container flats. To my recollection that is all of our trades with WP&YR, though a former SVRy caboose was later recovered from a private party in Skagway.
