Well, this is really quite interesting. I'd love to know why the B-7 was spurred out onto a specially laid piece of track in the middle of no-man's-land in the Chama Yard. It is set up for a somewhat long term stay. They have hooked up power, installed a nice night time lamp to light up the platform area and made a nice sign informing the public that this in not a place for you to enter. I don't see any evidence of a telegraph line hook up. It is parked under a power line, but the telegraph lines appear overhead in the top of the picture.
They went to a bit of work to set the B7 up like this. They had to have some reason to set off the track out in the middle what is now the parking lot. They obviously intended to leave it there for a while, and wanted it away from the track.
Kinda wierd....
