The car does look to me to be a '39 Chevy Sedan.
I think the date on the photo 6/45 is likely the date the film was developed rather than when the photo was taken.
So it appears to me that the photo was taken in the spring of 1939 - 1946. One of those years
As was stated by another poster, the b6 car was back on the rails and used on an excursion in 1946, so it could not have been later than that.
I notice the building labeled Pool Hall is still there, 457 Terrace Ave.
