Yes - no question that most of the lines at that time wanted to dispose of the streetcar and interurban systems. GM/Xxxx City Lines and partners stepped in and took advantage of the situation. I am sure it is probably looked at as "just doing good business." The timing was unfortunate in that we lost so much of our transit systems at that time, and now we need them back.
