Thanks for all the ideas. We're pretty certain that whatever is wrong is associated with the fuel pump, since that's what we removed and repaired. George did change a couple of the injector pumps, exchanging them with the "sawmill" engine parts.
There is a CAT mechanic in ABQ who has worked on this locomotive before. George is trying to get him to make a weekend trip to Antonito.
