In BIG dismals, there is an area vented to the intake manifold called an "air box" where excess oil from the crankase drains. IF the box is not drained, and fills, it can be picked up by the intake air stream and provide unlimited fuel supply to the engine, which will then "run away" regardless of throttle position. Maybe something like this is happening to the 19?
