Durango to Chama

Hey everyone new to the forum.

I am planing to build a D&RGW layout soon and I really like both Drango and Chama yard. Is the route between the two yards anything worth modeling? I am not finding any info specifically about the route between the two yards. I would like to model Durango to Silverton because I love that scenery but that line did not accept k-36 and k-37 locomotives. Anyways any info, pictures, books or movies would be cool.
