In June 1999, on my way to Sacramento railfair I spotted #18, what a beauty. She looked in great shape and you could see the tools and parts around and on her where she was being restored. I was told the locals were going to light her up and toot her whistle on the 4th of July. Seeing what they were doing, I sure she sounded great. Yes, this one could run and hopefully will when they lay some 3 foor teack.
