The motor car came from the Death Valley Railway that once operated from Death Valley Junction on the T&T to Ryan. As far as I know there is no association with Death Valley Scotty.
Later the mort car went with the rest of the equipment to US Potash at Carlsbad, New Mexico. Then later donated to the museum at Laws.
