The only functioning water tank not on your list is at Los Pinos and several hundred swallows feel slighted for not having their home mentioned!
There is a tank at Lava, but it is not functional. Water had to be pumped 2200 feet from Rio Los Pinos to the tank which burned down in 1971. The structure currently there was moved from Antonito. The only other "tank" on the line is at Lobato and is a 1970 Hollywood construct used most notably in "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade."
All of the functioning water tanks get used from time to time with Sublette and Cumbres as common stops for both east and westbound trains. Single headed trains up the hill eastbound often stop at Cresco as was true of the heavy oil trains during the later years of D&RGW operations. Starting up on the 4% grade after watering at Cresco can be a bit of a driver slipping adventure.
