Last fall, I had the pleasure of dinner with Bob Richardson. He talked about how literally hundreds of people came to visit him with dreams of restoring a narrow gauge steam operation in Colorado. Out of this non-stop stream of people, he said that only one person met with him that had a complete and successful plan, Lindsey Ashby.
So, if CHS has their way, plan a trip to the Georgetown Loop in 2005. Bring your high speed video camera for filming the runby of perhaps their first and last run. Four percent plus downhill could get exciting without good equipment and good people.
