IIRC, it takes a lot more than a little blustery weather to keep a hard-kore DampfLokomotiveFanatiker indoors — especially when he has a loyal hiking companion insisting on an outing.  (The photo at the top of [ngdiscussion.net] was taken in mid-September 2009, but it wasn't posted 'til just a couple of weeks before Thanksgiving, and as it's relevant to the current discussion I can't resist posting a link.  No comment as to whether it's also relevant to your earlier thread concerning the many sorts of critturs found along railroads of various gauges . . . )
