The track from the shop and yard to the wharf along the bluff was in place VERY early, maybe only a few months after the track was put down Broadway. Many early photos show this track in place.
The Army put in the new track from the bluff track to the new barge basin, about where the ore warehouse is/was. This crossed the old Broadway track, which was removed from the beach side of the new track.
