The Army in WWII put in the track from the bluff to the station and beyond, cutting off the Broadway track at the station. From about a block before the station, on Broadway, the Broadway track was rerouted toward the river for about a block. Information above from maps and photos.
About half the length of the Broadway track was not in a street at that time and was used for car storage after WWII.
