Thank You for posting! The scenery reminds me of Southern California in February, when the grass is green but the wildflowers not yet in bloom. We even have a few varieties of Eucalyptus here, which most local folks don't realize were imported from Oz well over a century ago. They turned out to be too tough for use as railroad ties, but – being tall and fast-growing – made great windbreaks for our farmers. Birds have scattered their seeds all over the place, so, like Brits there in the antipœdes, they're semi-native now.
