Dave was also a fantastic modeler. I had met Dave at the Friday night meetings at the Little Depot hobby shop in Anaheim in the 1970's . The group included modelers such as Dave, Paul Scoles, jim Finnel, John Olson and others. Dave also helped Jeff Reynolds on his RGS layout. RIP
