Ouch, hurts my head...
Soooo, the control would be two throws, one push/pulling the left-outer and right-inner points, the other one push/pulling the left-inner and right-outer points, no? Did some googling to find out, no joy. Geesh, all the reasons in Colorado to see stuff: #168, #20, and what I want more than any of that is to drive to Durango to see this thing...
Googling around, there is a fair bit of information on trackwork; one site provides a "formal" name for such a contraption: "compound heterotopic symmetric switch" Breaking it down: compound=made up or consisting of two or more existing parts or elements; heterotopic=occurring in an abnormal place; symmetric=made up of exactly similar parts facing each other or around an axis; and switch=well, you know..... I pulled these definitions from different places, so your mileage will vary in this case. Okay, now I'll go take my meds....
