Espionage. That guy down in Alamosa was a troublemaker. We gotta keep a close eye on what he is up to. Uncle Bob used to leave copies of the NGN in the Alamosa Division offices, upstairs in the depot. He said when he did so, the superintendent's secretary would immediately stop whatever she was doing, an pick up the the NGN say "now I can find out what is happening on our railroad".

Bob got called out by the Supt. for reporting on the Big Horn Wye extension, saying "that was supposed to be a secret, we did it without getting permission from Denver, because it would be considered a "capital improvement" and we can't have those down here. How did you find out about it?" Bob's reply was "there are no secrets around here... as to how I found out about it, I went to Big Horn and saw it..."
