IMHO, Wayne -
It's not digital cameras
per se that are the problem, it's the over-saturation and/or excessive
post* processing
that {to which} so many otherwise innocent photos are subjected
to. For a beautiful example of what's possible with digital see [

ngdiscussion.net]. For additional examples, there have been numerous beautiful digital photos posted recently of activities at Como and of the Maine two-footers in action on the WW&F, {as well as Olaf's excellent photos of the D&SNG's steam-powered log trains at [

et seq. }
