A little hard to follow the geography, not knowing the area, but am very much enjoying these posts. Have been out abandoned lines exploring a little myself (wife kicks me out of the house 
) and should probably take more photos and post them. Am again very envious of your weather. Supposed to rain like a bugger tomorrow, after having snowed last week! Along with the rain will finally come warmer temps, or so they promise us.
