Our SVRR Archives holds some of the original blue print copies of the proposals and floor plans for these cars. One of the blue print drawings setting here on my desk as I type is titled "Proposed Floor Plan N.G. Coach Quincy Western Ry. Co." It is dated Nov.8, 1910. In black ink it is marked modified 7/7/14 and has some black ink modifications in the drawing. The actual quotation sheet to the SVRy have the Quincy name marked out and Sumpter Valley written over. This brings up two questions. "The encyclopedia of Western of Railroad History" shows the Quincy Western as std. ga. What is up with this and did the Quincy Western actually buy any of these cars?
