Like others I use Final Cut Pro on my Mac. It basically is similar to iMovie, just with more horsepower.

I’ve been using iMovie and now Final Cut Pro for a while and have had good luck with getting the tool to work. It does sound like the tool should be easily able to handle what you are working on. It’s all about cutting down your clips / pictures to match what your looking for.

I’d suggest you do searches on the internet, as there is a lot of folks doing the same thing. I’ve pretty much found all of my cases on the net/YouTube.
