Thanks Bill! Well, 0588 was a Gunnison based caboose but did make runs to Salida and back. I have another photo of 0588 spotted on the caboose track in Salida in the late 30's. 0588 was a regular on the Crested Butte and Baldwin branches up until those lines were abandoned.
