Thanks William, operations over Marshall Pass have always fascinated me. Guess it is partially because it was photographed less than Cumbres.
When the D&S ran 493, I could image what three of them must have sounded like working up the west side of the pass. I could picture them running back to Sargents for the second "turn." Turning on the wye there and then turning on the turntable at Marshall in the snow shed.
