I have tried to find anything on the eastern end of the Kansa Central (Leavenworth to Valley Falls) and have come up pretty much empty handed. Apparently there is still a deep cut outside of Leavenworth that can still be seen, but I have not found it. Stuff here in scenic northeast Kansas disappears a lot quicker than it does in the mountains of Colorado. 5 or 10 years it all it takes for trees to take over an abandoned grade and it is not hard for the farmers to flatten out the grade across their fields.
